Hi to all namepros,

my first year in domaining is coming to its end, and therefore my first handregs will expire in no time

Since I didn't made any sucess in selling (but enjoyed very much in every other aspect of domaining), I will probably let them all expire...

Over the first year I made very strong emotional tie with all of those names, so I would eventually keep just one or two of them.

In your opinion, are any of them worth keeping or I can just let them all go without regrets?

Unfortunately, I don't see much value in your current collection, imo...other than a couple that could be used for your own developments, assuming you build websites as a hobby. A good testing/practice project if you do. Otherwise, drop them. Keep learning and slowly find quality domains that serve your purpose. Quality, not quantity.

FPVDuel could have potential according to @imc ...although in my part of the world its spelled wrong and should be Dual, but then again they say there's a market for that sort of thing, so I dunno.

Duel and Dual, both, have different connotations. They have no bearing or similarities in association as meaning one and the same, no matter from which part of the world one looks at them.

Absolutely, and yet when I enter either of the terms into my browser the version to receive the most matched results is the Dual version. I thought we were talking about domain value, so I assumed keyword matching was appropriate. Go figure.

Why ask if you should drop it, renew it or sell it....you seem to know what you like. Put it out there for sale and see if you can flip it for a nice chunk of change.

What you are asking here is good but you should do it with sense, you must add your own views at the background before making your final decision.

I could remember when DnJournal's founder - Ron Jackson was trying to know if he should hold domainjournal.com. Someone advised him to drop it, but can you believe that, the person picked up the name after dropped and wanted Ron to buy it at a huge sum but he could not find other buyer for the name and Ron bought the name at a very cheap price.

To make a decision, you can try to google your names without extension. If within the googling your name shows that there are some potential users, ten you can keep. You might see that none of the names will have potential buyers. If that is the case, you might want to narrow your future lost by letting them expire. If you still want to keep some emotionals, choose 1 only or maximum 2. Learn from the forum what type of domains that are in searched by end users. Normally it will be 2 word domain related to goods or services.

I would like to auction them, but some of them are already in grace period (from 09. april), and rest will also expire during next 5 to10 days.

Is it possible to auction domains which are in grace period at Godaddy?
