I have a TM domain - how do i develop w/o getting a c&d or UDRP?

I recently registered a TM domain but have not parked it, the domain is currently unresolved with no website or anything. now, I see alot sites that use TM's blatantly, like "xbox-cheats" or something of that sort but how can they use the TM without the domain being taken by the TM owner.

This domain I have has over 1million searches a month for the exact phrase. Lets just say I own Delta.us, how could I develop this domain in a way where its not jeopardized.

Thanks Alot.

Ben

Is the TM a real word/term, or is it a made up word like "Pepsi"?

If you want to PM me the specifics I will try to help. It is too hard without knowing all the details.

Just develop it in whatever way you see fit, but try to stay away from all or
any trademarks there possibly are. And be ready to defend it anyway, given
that people dispute other people's rights every other day.

It's all in Domain usage meaning how domain is used.
Your example, Delta.us...
Develop that into geo related site such as
Delta, Colorado
Delta, California
Delta, Iowa
Delta, Kentucky
Delta, Louisiana
Delta, Missouri
Delta, Ohio
Delta, Pennsylvania
Delta, Utah
Delta, Wisconsin
Delta Charter Township, Michigan
Delta County (disambiguation)

Do NOT develop it into anything related to airline.
Do NOT insert Adsense or YPN type ads on web site since they do
insert incorrect ads such as "delta airline" occasionally even when
web site has nothing to do with airline.

Thanks for the replies. I have decided to just try and sell the domain, it would be a hassle to try and develop then have the possibility of it ultimately being taken away from me. BTW the domain is "w e b k i n z . i n f o"

Why does everyone think that development is the savior for any poor domain reg? Focus on getting a quality, non-TM name first (.com, .net, .org, .info) THEN develop it and you will be much better off in the long run.

hey matt, i have plenty of quality domains but the reason i made this thread was in reference to the domain i mentioned above ^^^

there are over 7 million searches a month, surely if i could get a fraction of that via a developed site and not have to worry about it being taken away that would be awesome, just trying to figure out how to do it

Yeah, that makes sense. I'm just making more of a general statement based on some of the postings I've seen lately that "development" will save us all.

That's...why I said be ready to defend your domain registration anyway. No
surefire way exists for one to be "immune" against C&Ds and what not, and
it's not even considering trademarks alone.
