I Have a Semi-Viral Video on You Tube, and I Don't Know Why

It's just a clip of my granddaughter with a character at Disney World.

While I love my granddaughter dearly, the clip is nothing special--just a cute kid being coy.

I've had to turn off the comment section because of a$$h@t comments.



I won't give the link here (that feels too spammy), but my user name on You Tube is Bugzita.

Can anyone tell me why this vid has so many views while the others (most of them better than this one) languish in YouTube obscurity?

Looking at the statistics, it all appears to be coming from related videos.

But the top demographics are males from 35-54 years old. I'll leave that for you to interpret.

Maybe it (the video) has been posted to other sites and got some more viewers.

Right beside the views there is a little bar graph icon. You should be able to see even more info when you do it. Like search words etc.

Those dressed up characters at Disney World scared the heck out of me when I was young!

I didnt look at the video, But I had something a bit similar. All I did was post a vid on youtude for family members which was yard work. It got much more hits then I ever thought it would. Turns out that youngsters thought I posted it because something funny was going to happen during the work, like an Americans funniest video lol So look for anything that would lead people to think your grand daughter going to punch goofy in the nose or Micky putting his arm her a little too low lol etc, in the display tube pic or writing.
