It's a frequently used term for buying/selling car-parts here in the UK. Quite a few are getting into an internet presence for selling used and refurbished car parts and it continues to grow. These are not the replacement filter type of sales, but entire exhaust systems, engines, axles, whole rack and steering etc.
I can imagine somebody wanting to use it for a blanket coverage term, even with the hyphen. you could try pushing it a little higher but not by much.
