I paid for 1000 "unique visits" and have only gotten 469 according to google analytics... this was a brand new site, no visits, so any visits I had were from this... and according to the website, my campaign is complete?... seems like I am missing a lot of visits

If these visits are not compensated, where exactly do the visitors come from? Are they visiting out of true interest, or is there some sort of automation going on? What percentage of visitors are from the US?

according to the website (ShareBux.org) that he sent me to to sign up, it appears visitors are compensated... and each pacakge you purchase has an amount of time that a potential visitor would have to keep it open...

to clarify, from what the site states, they are compensated with 'shares' and 'share tickets' which can be turned in for cash/prizes

Hello and thanks for your interest. As mentioned above, the members who visit your sites are rewarded shares in ShareBux.org - These shares have a fluctuating price and can be sold for cash and rewards at any time. And also for the person that asked about traffic stats; FYI: There are fluctuations when using different traffic trackers. This could be for several reasons... for one, some statistical programs may not be able to log several hundred (or more) unique visits per second OR the program may be grouping our counting visits as the same if they are coming from the same referrer, i.e. ShareBux. Another cause could be the growing popularity of ISP's who re-use the same IP addresses over and over (ie: AOL) and if your stats program is only counting uniques, it may only count the amount of IP addresses, which could be less. Server-side statistical programs that use a strong database backend with very little coding seem to represent the best results.

Couple things concern me in your response... I have paid for other traffic on other sites before and have gotten roughly 10,000-20,000 "unique" visits in one day, although, probably not real people... but thats another story... the end result is that google analytics can handle high loads... if they couldn't track 50%+ of the unique visits... they would be useless.

I also have webalizer and awstats on there, Webalizer recorded 600 unique visits... and awstats recorded 562... both are still not close to 1000.

Additionally, the comment about the IP address is somewhat silly... yes, there are tons of ISP's that re-use IP address, but it is not natural to say that it so happens that 50% of the visitors of the 1000 "unique" visits happened to be on the same ISP, and happened to pickup an IP of someone else who also happens to be one of your members which had already visited my site... ontop of that, we are only talking about 1000 visits in the span of 2-3 days... doesn't seem reasonable.

It seems much more reasonable that the same person is clicking on the site 2-3 times to get compensated with these 'shares' or 'share tickets'... As a member of your site, I was able to click on the same site from your list of 'view ads' 3 times and get credit for each time... it appears as though your site does not have a way of tracking how many times a person has 'viewed' the add (or is limited to a number greater than 1), it shouldn't have let me click on it multiple times and give me 'share tickets' each time I clicked... I will say that after the 3rd click, it stopped giving me tickets... therefore it would stand to reason that you are not delivering 1000 'unique visits'.

I can take screenshots of the awstats, webalizer, and analytics if you would like to see.
