.tv Hoy.TV - Today in Spanish

Hey Everyone,

New to this side of the forums... I've recently developed an interest in the .tv extension and you'll hopefully see me around a lot more!

I recently bought HOY.tv, it means "Today" in Spanish.

Domain has 1587 OVT/ext and is a very generic phrase with spanish visitors looking for all types of things.

What do you guys think of this domain?

Very nice brand name....but you have to be more patient with all .TV's outside of the english language...well, spanish anyway.....it will take off there too, but will be behind the english speaking countries.....I have emergencia.tv - for when the spanish market matures....but if you can afford the premium fees - should turn out to be a very nice investment...

Thanks for the nice words. Hoy.tv fits into being a nice, short generic word. What can an end user use this for? Today's news (sports, weather, politics, etc)? I feel pretty confident about the growth in the Spanish market in this space. Most of the generics have been taken by Mrs. Jello and/or Online.tv. The encouraging piece of news is some of these generics have been registered until 2008-2011. It may be an indication of good things to come.

Thanks everyone! I was suprised to see this gem available as it receives 600+ visitors a day. I'm curious as to where the traffic is coming from...
