Hello NP, is it advisable to register a single word domain regardless of extension, When checked the keyword on dotdb, domain exact match figure was 94,681 while number of registered extensions are 328.

Regards!

Just because it's a single word, doesn't mean it's valuable across all the TLDs.

Also, some single word domain names are registry premium names in some TLDs.
So, perhaps some of those TLDs are left unregistered, because they have an enormous renewal cost.

Ok. So its availability does not mean it isn't valuable?

May be valuable, may be not - it can't be generalized that way.
Ok. I found a business using the keyword where the extension name is the secondary keyword. So I thought that will make it somewhat valuable.
