How to use TDNAM?

I have recently found Freshdrop.com which seems to use TDNAM.com some way..
Will the domains ever be able to be registered outside TDNAM(Which seems to be owned by GoDaddy, which I don't prefer) or are they only available for registeration via TDNAM?

Just.. Give me all the info about TDNAM. =P

they are available first from tdnam if available at all. the other option is contacting the current/previous owner.

TDNAM is owned by GoDaddy, and domains don't have to registered through GD to use it. (Even though most are.)
TDNAM isn't a bad deal really. I've bought and sold a few on there, and the experience was MUCH BETTER than eBay.

FreshDrop appears to be some sort of affiliate frontend that I'm not familiar with.
