How exactly do you write meta tags? Example please.

Keywords, like "keyword" or - keyword, keywords, etc with comma, quotes?

Thanks.

There's a few .... :o

There are plenty of the different tags out there - and Even though most "Seo" peeps ignore them now , MANY Meta Crawlers / Bots / Engines still use them.

I guess "Title" is missing up there as well :red:

Mark had already explained it very very nicely.

But doing the keyword research and other stuff. I have caught you on DNOA thread :)

Give me some hours I will do the basic things for it. And then write the general outline and from there you can continue on.

1. are you saying google and yahoo dont look at keywords anymore?

2. assuming they should still be used, I'm having an argument with my web designer right now on how many keywords you can list...I had about 48 and have seen this many and more used on large sites...is there a limit?

3. sorry to butt in on the thread....hasrob

If SE's see it or not that is not the issue.

I think if SE's don't see it then also is there anything wrong in putting them?

If we atleast put the meta tags then as Mark mentioned the SE's that use the meta tags will be able to see it.

And the SE's that don't use it will not bother to look at it.
