How to verify 50,000 uniques a day?

I'm planning to help my friend to acquire a portfolio of about 20,000 domain names whose owner claims that his domain names get 50,000 unique visitors a day. How can I verify it?

So far I came up with the following idea: to open a separate account on Sedo.com and direct all the domain names in question there for few days? But it can be costly - as the portfolio definetely generates good income...

Would appreciate your advice.

i think that is the best method. if you can rely on screenshots of the seller in question then why not go with his stats only?

it is going to be costly but that cost is very minimal compared to the total acquisition cost of the whole portfolio.

get the seller to point the domains to your server for 5-7 days so you can track the traffic...
