How to use Social bookmarking to get links to Articles

Hi,

I was reading that it's a good thing to get your article submitted (or links to your article) to some of the social bookmarking/networking sites.
I was wondering what is the best way to do this if you have a site with 30 pages of content and that you are constantly adding pages to? Can you just have people submit these different articles to the same networking sites and is there a good way to do it? Also are there things you shouldn't do that will get your site banned/in trouble/or is just a waste of time?
And can anyone recommend a service that does this - e.g. 30 listings/links per article across a network of sites?

First of all you should put the social networking buttons on your site so that people can bookmark the newly created pages if they wish.

Next is to just get the word out and for that you can use the NP incentives section here and get some bookmarks done

Add most of social bookmarking site's button. it will geerate new pages when visitor go through button to bookmarking and login their accounts.

Why don't you submit them to article directories more and more? It will help you too

if you dont have a lot of traffic, adding bookmarking button on the site will not help. if you need instant backlinks from SB sites, then you need to geet your site bookmarked on SB sites. there are ton of bookmarking sites out there, all you have to do is to submit

I was wondering if i wanted allthe below links at social networking sites wouldn't one or all of them be punished? as you can see there are 3 below - will they just take them all in - or will they only take one from Solar-energy.com

James it doesn't matters if you put in 3 or 5 pages from one site It will not be punished.

I have a friend who submits all new blog posts of mine to different social sites as soon as I post it and he gets the email as he is subscribed to my blog

put out a blog a blogspot will do perfect then get it's atom.xml put in squidoo and promote one site on squidoo on social bookmarks plus you get paid as well in promoting a squidoo page if there's enough traffic.

Post the article in social bookmarking sites and do the link building.

Some are better

Note that if you are spending your own time some social sites are better than other. The big one stumble, delicious can actually bring you traffic.
Some of the smaller ones have dofollow links which can help your SEO with certain keywords.

I agree with nick, that is the best way to start out. Many people use the buttons because they don't have to copy/paste the title etc..

agreed about putting it on your site... make it easier for them and they will do it... although if you have less than 10 visitors a day they don't work very well..

I agree that the articles should be unique and interesting. They should attract by their content and only in this case they will attract.

Also do some, directory submission, blog posting, blog commenting, forum posting, press release submission.. :D
