I just moved some .be names from EuroDns to ovh.com

But I am having some real trouble getting the dns to point where I want it.

I would like to use my ns1.mycustomdns.com and ns2.mycustomdns.com

The support is pretty good, except I cant find the link in the "manager" area to turn on English emails instead of the default french.

So if anybody uses OVH what do I need to change?
Please be specific. I'm not new to this, just confused by their CP.

TIA

Brian,
While I don't know, I remember when I first used ovh for some .be's last year (Yeah, about the free "landrush" timeframe) I had to use google to translate the pages to figure things out, as their english pages were less than reliable.
You might give that a try, and I hope that something works for you.

For changing your DNS, when you log on v3 manager: select your domain by clicking it, go to the option Domaines & DNS on the left menu, then click Serveurs DNS icon , then go to Modification , change your DNS , click Valider for validate , Retour to go back, you should be done

Great! I think that did it. Looks like the 24-48 hr waiting period for update.

I did change something before. You know how to restore defaults to a name too?

Rep added :)

Thanks.

Sites are up and running. Woot!

Many Thanks again.

(Note: the UK, "english" version of ovh.com still uses manager v2 and the dns box is blank with only bullets next to where the dns should be. Because there is no dns there, there is no way to change it. Tried using Firefox 1.5+ & IE6)
