

It is standard between all registrars. Register.com also just happens to be one of the hardest registrars to transfer out after the 60 day lock...xserver said:60 Days ?? too long time

Even then, I had to explain why I wanted to move the domain and assure them that I really did want to move it out of Register.com. It felt quite odd doing it this way instead of the usual request by email for the code.
