How are we supposed to track the number of domains registered for a TLD? Particularly the .app domains TLD?

I feel like a crazy number of .apps are being registered but I need proof? Is there any site that allows one to track how many domains of a certain extension are being purchaesd/registered to the DNS online in comparison with another domain extension?

You can use dofo.com to track how many domain names are registered with any extension.

For .app, check this search: https://dofo.com/search/?extension=app

It seems there are 345,707 registered domain names with the .app extension.
