How to save page rank of dropped domain?

Hi,
I just caught a valid PR6 domain and I would like to keep it's PR for some time. I would like to hear suggestions how not to lose this rank. Will any developed page do or it has to be something similar to previous site?

And one more question: What is domain value based on its PR(6) only?

If I'm not mistaken, PR is based only on backlinks. So to maintain your PR6 you'll have to keep the backlinks. If you develop a new site unrelated to the previous one I would imagine the backlinks would dwindle. So I would suggest to develop a site similar to the previous one.

Develop a similar website. It also depends on the content of the earlier website
