I have a question I am getting ready to try to develop a new site, I feel the code to do what i want to do will be wanted, is there anyway to copyright a code, or protect it somehow without the big boys coming in and stealing it, Granted they would prolly just buy the site, but you get the idea.
Thanks
Tim

The second thing that comes to mind is that sooner or later your code will be broken and copied.

Use the best you can, but don't be surprised when a few months from now, assuming your code is super awesome and everyone wants it, that there will be 30 clones of your script popping up all over and not much you can do about it.

Good luck, always love to see new ideas sprint ahead for the first few months when they are king.

If you don't want it to be copied/stolen - don't put in on the net.

You can try to stop people but no encryption is perfect and if someone wants it badly they will get it.
