I just got an account at afternic to list some of my domains and wondered if it's wise to enter a minimum and asking price?

One the one hand, I think having a realistic asking price might bring in more interested buyers... but you might be pricing it correctly.

So how do you list your domains? Put in realistic asking prices? outragous asking prices? or just leave it blank and be open to all ofers?

Has anyone noticed if listing your domain with realistic prices increases interest and sales?

It really depends if you want a quick sale or not. If you do, then list at a reasonable asking price. If not, just set a minimum asking price of $100 and see what happens.

a few brokers suggest putting in an asking price, I have never used that method and always put in minimum bid $75 and leave asking price at make offer, I have gotten first offers on quite a few between 500-750. I think if you put in an asking price you may avoid non serious bids but if someone was willing to pay more now they won't have to and will just bid your asking price, just my opinion on the matter, I like to see what the offers roll in at and work it from there.
