How to optimize website for customers to increase sales

After penguin,website is not getting high ranking but i want to increase sales through optimization of website but not using seo so let me know which technique could be implemented on website?

You want to optimize your website, but for something that isn't SEO? SEO is the most organic and best possible traffic you could ask for (next to buying good traffic - which is extremely expensive) and it's what every website should be aiming towards! I would recommend you do some google searching on the last penguin update and consider installing/using Google webmaster tools. Find out why you were penalized and fix it and then your rankings should come back. By any means - don't just give up on SEO!

In off-page seo, i have been tired to submit website into direcotires & bokmarking websites so what is best alternative to these?

Most directories and bookmarking sites are not good backlinks and you will get penalized not improved page rank. You need to get your links from genuine, quality websites, related to the subject of your domain, with page rank higher than yours.

If you want to increase your website traffic then you should use seo and smm technique for your website. IT will give you long term traffic which will increase your website revenue .
