I grabbed a random 5 letter domain name on Sunday that has gotten 756 visitors and only one click. Where is the best place to monetize this domain?

Its on pace for around 6K visits a month and I'd at least like it to pay for itself before I sell it.

go for pay for cpm (impressions)
some are clicksor.com
http://paypopup.com/ which annoys people
sign-profit.com which pays via e-gold (guaranteed if you can accept e-gold)
bride.ru is another via popup
or just use it's traffic and offer services such as redirected traffic

It's random letters, there are no accurate keywords.

Do you have a hosting account? If not, put it on namedrive.com. They have a great stat tracking deal, where it shows top searches that your users to your domain made. Then from there optimize it correctly.

Where in Namedrive does one find that? I looked around; didn't see it.

Click on a domain in your stats section(make sure you are viewing the full month stats of that name so you can get more results of what people have been searching for over the month). There you will see a button with Settings on it. Click that, and then scroll down and it will show you a list of top searched terms for that name over the month.

good advice, and you're very correct. I recently regged some LLL.co.in and i want to park them @ parked, but i'm parking them at namedrive now so that i can find out what keywords to use when i move it back to parked.

Hi, I have like 70 names on namedrive, I did what you said - went to the domain name, monthly stats, settings. I scrolled down and saw user searches, for both domains I saw N/A. For all my domains I see 6 impressions.
I don't see any search terms. Maybe I justed parked them last week.

By the way, do you know if in the keyword box if you should separate keywords by commas?

Thanks.

It means you have no traffic to your names, so there won't be any users that searched for anything on your names.

Im not sure what you mean in your second paragraph there.

Thanks Shaggy.

Re the second paragraph - I'm referring to setting up the 'KEYWORDS". If you have multiple keywords for that one particular domain, when you enter the keywords, should you separate them by a comma or just a space OR should you just put in only 1 keyword that is relevant to your domain?

Thanks.

I have the same thing as leslieprospers. 8 visitors on 1 name but N/A at the bottom. I just listed this name on namedrive yesterday. 8 visitors today but N/A for user searches. I dont understand what you meant. Could you please explain what you mean by "it means you have no traffic to your names"....I thought the 8 visitors is traffic.
:td:

I also tried what you said but also get N/A on a domain with 20 visitors.

Must have done something wrong or something is not set up correctly

I Don't seprate keywords with commas.

Just say it's a banking domain.I would enter something like:

Banking | Finance | Loans....don't know why...just seems to work better.
:hehe:

Some months ago someone said that we should use commas, now you are sugesting using ( | ) . I don't know the name of "|"

Hell I've been using: Banking, Finance, Loans.... all this time. Have I been doing it wrong all this time?

I could be completely wrong Gil...but i've read on different forums that When choosing keywords on Sedo (who are also a google feed) to seperate keywords in such a fashion.Apparently the google se's prefers this method for indexing as far as i can understand...so i just apply it to namedrive because of the same feed provider.

By the Way...| is the vertical pipe...just above the enter key or below the backspace key.

Sent you a PM with one of the posts i've read on another forum.I'm not sure of the rules for posting a post from another forum.
