Suppose you've purchased 10 or so keyword domains, based on the same theme, for instance -say- fighting videos...
You've got fightingvideos.com ; fightvideos.com ; combatvideos.com ; fights.tv ... etc
How would you go about monetizing all these domains?
- make minisites that would all link to a main site
- develop one domain very thoroughly and park the rest hoping that a buyer will see the potential for these domains
- create a fighting videos directory (fightingvideosdirectory.com) and review all these minisites
Presumably, if you own most of the interesting variants on a keyword, this gives the main keyword scarcity value (if I own all the plots of land in a particular place, and I choose to develop the one in the middle, while the rest will stay undevelopped, this gives it much greater value). But how would you do that with websites?
