I was wondering if it is possible to create your own parking pages and if so what does it require to set it up?
I can't use my AS id and paste in on singular pages so what options are there?

Mini websites are not what i am after but regular parking pages that meets my own ideas.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

as long as you have enough impressions per day, you can apply to adsense to allow you to make your own parking (no content) pages

but the impressions per day threshold is huge as i remem

Yeah, i know that's a real dillemma. All in all i really don't have that amount of impressions...actually not a whole lot of impressions at all. The idea of creating my own pages just sounds so appealing you know?

To experiment with layouts and such.

I do believe parked.com has plans giving their customers the oportunity to create their own pages but this could take forever when this is available.

Wouldn't it be great if you have an WYSIWYG editor to create your own layouts when you would log into your Sedo or Namedrive account?

We can only hope for such features :'(

I would love to do my own ones, I think it may also be difficult to find a host that will allow you to have multiple domains - you could do web forwarding but I don't think this works as good in search engines as far as I know.

Irish, does Adsense allow ads even if nothing is in the domain?

If you mean that no content is required? Yes, but only if you meet certain requirements.
Your portfolio needs to have 750.000 pageviews a month i believe.

thats a hefty amount of pageviews, but i reckon a few people on here would qualify for that

As mentioned, Adsense for domains has/had a minimum page view requirement of 750k a month. The programme however is now closed for applications (as i believe).

You cannot place adsense on any page "made for adsense" or a "parking page".

With regard a WYSIWYG editor we, at 1plus.net, considered doing this but couldnt think of what users would want to put on their site/s. After all, weve found that people who have multiple domains dont want to / dont have the time to write lots and lots of content - merely wanting to monitize their stock.

If you want to create something of your own, there are sites like blogger.com and myspace.com for fully hosted sites or rubyonrails.org for the full monte... Using adsense however involves content..

TrafficClub.com seems to offer options to use Adsense for Domains, DS and Skenzo and DS optimized. Flexible options to test your domains with the different providers.

All the major parking companies use adsense for domains as their primary feed.

I pictured a WYSIWYG editor in the form of having the ability to upload your own header images and determing the look and feel of the ad placement, color usage and the overall look of the page layout.
Allthough i imagine parking providers being wary of this since the performance can be impacted by parking inefficient designs and leaving control in the hands of the domain owners.

But this would be the ultimate flexibilty one could have regarding looks of a parked page.

RubyonRails seems nice to explore but i have a feeling one need to have a "little" background and experience with overall webdevelopment to benefit from it.
Thanks for pointing this out to me ;)

I believe Sedo are offering something close to this now ...

And its nice to see they are catching up with the rest of us. [finally]. Just a shame about their payout percentages dropping through the floor.

Have a look at one of our skins www.i-designs.net - I dont think you could possibly want much more if you wanted to use your own adsense id.. :)

Sedo does have improved greatly in improving their parking services and in some extend they do offer what i described earlier but not entirely unfortunately.
I viewed the site you linked to but it's not exactly what i am looking for.
