Ok i just launched my latest website www.speew.com 2 days ago. I`ve thrown in some google ads and thought to get some traffic. I said to my self it is a good occasion to use google adwords for the first time. I selected all the keywords google recommended (that were also relevant to my site...for example i choose "arcade games", "but not old arcades for sale" :P) and made my preferred bid at $0.10. I made my daily budget at $10 (i just wanted a test drive), and deposited 20 bucks (I was a bit angry because of the $5 activation cost but nevermind). Ok at the end of the day everything looked perfect:
I had 220 uniques and about 240 visits
About 94 clicks from google (so all my budget was exhausted)
The others coming from some place else (probably stumble and other forums or search engines).
The problem is that it was not as good as it sounds. Even though adwords should give me targeted visitors at the end of the day i had only 4 new members 2 of which were people i personally knew...
60% of the visits were less than 30 seconds
My CTR was 1.86% and revenue $1.08 (lol i think gaming related keywords are the lowest paying)
Today the situation is getting worse:
Traffic dropped because my adwords funds are exhausted (and i won`t fund my account again unless i know 99% the traffic will be worth something)
I got like only 40 uniques today (and awstats says it 02 pm...)
Even though i have one click at a CTR of 1.54% revenue is $0.00
Still mosts visits are between 0-30s
Any suggestions to increase quality traffic and revenue are highly apprecited. I pay NP members to registeron my site and post coments , stumble it , del.icio.us it and nothing seems to work.
I know my site is 2 days old, but still getting 4 members (actually 2, because the other 2 were reffered by me) out of 220 visitors...and $1.08 revenue...
Oh and i will also donate 200NP$ to ANYONE who helps me with a really good solution (preferably a free and fast solution) to get this fixed
