How to go about marketing LongerURL.com?

I started a new site (http://www.LongerURL.com) but I don't really know how to promote it

its really usless and no point but thats the fun of it, IMHO. I just don't know what too do to make people notice it

is buying links really the best way of going or is there a better way for this site?

is there anything I should add to the site while I am at it?

I am sorry, but I need to say that I don't think there will be anytime I want to make my URL that long. So, If you know the reason to use this, please let's me know and use it for promoting your site. :hehe:

I have heard of people that like that type or site, maybe see if you can buy a banner spot on tiny url imo! Advertise in like seo forums or make some sort of incentive to start with.

I don't think no_url_shorteners offers that option, if so point me too it I was thinking forums but was looking for other ways too

i think you definitely need to have a dig button and social bookmarking sites i think its a great idea that could take off i would lean more to the humor of the site like putting messages in the url
