How to get information about a domain name?

Hello guys ,

i'm still new here , i would like to know how to get information about a domaine name , like the age , backlinks and so on ?

i've recently bought this domain dollarsflood[dot]com i found that has lot of backlinks on google , would like to know more please help me

I'm asking this because , i tried two different website and gave me two different result , one of them tell me that my domain has 9 years old and other say 0 old , i think may be domain was deleted before i registered it ! if so will it lose it's value ?

park the domain on any of the FREE services to see if there is any traffic.

as most of the links are likely tied to "money making" schemes

i tried to park it on sedo , they gave me an error as (detected irregular trafic on the last 6 month) i sent them an email and i'm still waiting !

i think the domain was first registered on 2005 then was dropped as i see its history on webconfs[dot]com

Try hosterstats.com - it shows first reg'd in 2005, dropped four times since, the last of which was 2011. It sat unreg'd until being registered today.

Also, I believe whoisology.com -and- whois.domaintools.com should be able to give name history, as well.

Hosterstats, and similar sites, are merely tools to use.

For me personally, I don't see any value in the name, but it shouldn't matter what I think, as I also do not understand what the name means. What is a dollars flood? Is it a brand-able to mean a financial windfall? Regardless, I think it would need serious development, and would probably still be a tough sell, or end up dropped, yet again.

Like any domain, it just depends on what the registrant plans to do with it, and how motivated and prepared s/he is to execute those plans. Best of luck.

yeah as the name say , money flood could be used for a company for a network marketing to build a network and pay user for bringing other subscriber ! like the we see on the history of the website and the backlinks the domain was used for that , and as there are lot of backlinks i guess would be some traffic . will see that after sedo approving
