I asked chatgpt, and she replies:

Finding high-budget domain investors or buyers can be a strategic process involving research, networking, and marketing efforts. Here are some steps you can take:

1. Identify Potential Buyers: Research industries or companies that might have an interest in your domain name. Look for companies in related fields or with similar branding.

2. Use Domain Marketplaces: List your domain on popular domain marketplaces such as Sedo, Flippa, or GoDaddy Auctions. These platforms attract investors and buyers looking for valuable domain names.

3. Utilize Social Media and Forums: Join domain investing communities on platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, or domain name forums. Engage in discussions, showcase your domain, and connect with potential buyers.

4. Attend Domain Conferences and Events: Participate in domain industry events where you can network with high-budget investors and buyers. These events provide opportunities for face-to-face interactions and deal-making.

5. Reach Out Directly: Identify companies or individuals who might benefit from owning your domain and reach out to them directly. Craft a personalized pitch highlighting the value of your domain and how it aligns with their business or branding strategy.

6. Work with Domain Brokers: Consider hiring a domain broker who specializes in connecting sellers with high-budget buyers. They have the expertise and network to negotiate deals on your behalf.

7. Optimize Your Listing: Ensure your domain listing is optimized for search engines and includes relevant keywords. A well-crafted listing increases the visibility of your domain and attracts potential buyers.

8. Offer Financing Options: If your domain has a high price tag, consider offering financing options to make it more accessible to buyers. This can attract buyers who might not have the full budget upfront but are willing to pay over time.

9. Highlight Unique Selling Points: Clearly communicate the unique selling points of your domain, such as its brandability, keyword relevance, or potential for future growth. Emphasize why your domain is worth the investment.

10. Be Patient and Persistent: Finding the right buyer for a high-budget domain can take time and persistence. Stay proactive in your marketing efforts and continue to explore different avenues for reaching potential buyers.

By employing these strategies and staying proactive in your approach, you can increase your chances of finding high-budget domain investors or buyers for your domain.

I'd imagine everyone knows the answer to that one.

Hold high value keywords or terms. You wont need to go looking for investor/buyers they'll find you. From my experience most of my best sales have come through direct contact, even when the domain has a public-listing.

I've come to the conclusion that most serious domain investors would much rather conduct their business in private and tend to only revert to sales pages for middling value sales or instant buys. Sure plenty of high value sales on these recognised sale sites but these are usually buyers (or sellers) that actually want a high profile, A big part of their business is to be in the Public-eye.

Zaimk AI post sums up all the key strategies but I wouldn't waste my time on half of them if I wasn't already receiving enquiries

Hi

of course!
that's the obvious answer that most don't get...until you point it out for them.

if folks are running to bots for answers, soon it will reduce their courage to think for themselves.

imo...
