Great post guys, I got a few decent names accumulated throughout 2015...2016 is the year I'm looking to make a few sales. I agree that Christmas/new year is the worst time to sell but buy. I'm thinking best time to start selling is Feb, as some people are skint from spending over the holiday period. Happy new year and have a cracking 2016!

Awesome great to hear thanks for that. Good point about Feb, it made sense to buy during the holidays since it is less competition on the auctions. We were able to snatch a few domain here and there. Happy new year to you as well!

Great video, you guys break it down simple and it's inspiring to others to hear about your success.

To comment on your closing statements about Holiday times in the vid, from my experience the past few years, the day after Thanksgiving to December 31 should be a main buying season as a domain investor.

I never do any outreach marketing for domains during this time and inbound offers usually slow down as well, but the past few weeks was a great time to reach out to domain owners with offers on their names, auctions are good as well but you've got a lot of other smart investors that are playing the field too so I didn't notice much of a difference in aftermarkets with the names I wanted, but I did with direct outreach. People obviously want money to shop for gifts or replace money they spent on gifts and will settle for less during that time more than any other time of the year. I've landed a couple of great names at great prices.

Things usually pick up with inbound inquiries starting Today. My outbound marketing begins this Monday after a hiatus the past month and a half.

Much success to everyone for 2016.

Thanks appreciate it. Also that is some great insight based on your experience. Thanks for sharing it really helps knowing we had the same type of thinking in regards to holding off on the outbound marketing. We are starting on Monday as well.

In regards to the outreach to purchase other people's names good to hear since this is something we recently began implementing and had a great response rate and looking to close some deals at great prices as well. For anyone looking to buy domains and notices how competitive it is over at the auctions, reaching out privately to people to buy their names is a MUST.

Happy new year and many more successes to you as well!

Thank you for the tips Omar and Will! Appreciate it guys.

You are very welcome!

Thanks. When I first started I was going crazy trying to find some sense of direction so definitely was aiming to benefit those who are just getting started.

What's that second site called? I hear spyfood.com, but obviously that's incorrect

Spyfood sounds like it could be an interesting site actually lol...

But the site Will mentioned in the video is SpyFu. It's a cool website to get details on keywords and advertisers.
