Hello,

For some of my domains i want to create mini sites.
This seems to be better than park my domains without traffic.
I want to put adsense and eBay advertisements on my niche related domains.
Also adding some automated articles seems to be a good idea.
After I created the mini sites I want to submit them to directories to get some traffic.
Maybe I also want to purchase some traffic.
I hope this can be a good idea to get traffic and earn some money with the domains.

Please tell me your thoughts about it.

And what software or program can i use to create mini sites very fast without spending too much time?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Richard

What is the definition of a "mini" site? How does it differ from a regular site?

Thanks

My understanding of a minisite is a site with 10 or less pages that targets a specific topic. This allows the owner to make money off of targeted advertisements. Im new to it too, my first site was calihybrids.com which I designed with joomla. Pretty simple, and have already made 10 or so dollars off of it

I use wordpress for time and efficiency, plus have a shared hosting plan that allows unlimited domains.

I find automated articles less unique, therefore I would suggest writing or obtaining unique articles for more traffic.

I use Joomla for mine. I'll get writers to put together content for me, upload articles and can move around modules very easily.

Here's an example of a work in progress: http://www.s-l.in
I have used Joomla to put this together. It's taken me about 30 minutes to put it together (which is why it still looks like crap _\|/_ )

A mini site is a website but only with 1 - 5 pages of content. This seems to be a new HalfPark concept (halfpark.com) because some great SEO names do not get parking revenue when parking them.

This can work and with time, I have a site that is One Page only 4 years old. I have excellent SEO and make decent $$ selling text links and also have 18 waiting to place a link from email contacts wanting to buy. But it was not until this year I had a waiting list going.

I want to expand this half park concept out with some of my other names. And develop and maintain a few large sites with my time.

Cogger , is http://halfpark.com finished??
1/That site does not meet Adsense TOS
2/ Has no real content
3/ Is no example of a minisite
4/ Is totally an embarrasment to all that visit the site.

Half done.com
Description:
Half Done is based on a idea of parking your un used domain names
for revenue while still being able to manage and control your own custom content
on your parked web page
ยฝ website
ยฝ parking
Do not be forced in to so called "crap ads" for a 3rd party revenue programs.
Take control of your parked content. Think Half Done.

PM for details of a BFT makeover , this is my park site alternative

Ofcourse not. It is just a concept and a place holder url
Ok , I did gather that
But it is still not good
a 20 line html site with a privacy policy link would look better

It will be a mini site site soon enough. I've just have my hands full right now with 260 others ;) Your welcome to contribute text articles with linked in text if you like.

Your sites look good...but I'm curious if it's Joomla that makes loading time
take just a bit longer? Almost all of your links took a second longer to load than
I'm comfortable with. Impatient people might just close the page to get out...instead of clicking on an ad to exit, you know?

Joomla does take some of the blame
But mostly it is my extra tracking codes
BTW over 60 visitors a day wait until minisite.info loads

Oh yeah...I'm sure they do. I didn't mean to imply they take that long to load. But as some of my sites get way less than 60 visitors a day, one viewer closing could cost me my only adsense click of the day on that site

Choose some good CMS.

Choose some good niche.

Install the CMS. Research keywords. Write or get written the content on the niche you selected.

Paste that content with ads.

Do the marketing.
