How to create Link Wheel

[waitressvn]

Hello,

Anyone know how to create a link wheel I heard it boosts PR and is it white hat method?

What is link wheel? I want to know more about it.

A link wheel is essentially when you set up various web pages, primarily on web 2.0 sites like blogger, wordpress, squidoo, and others and then you do two things:

First you link each of those web 2.0 pages to your main site.

Second, you link each of those pages to each other, so that every page links to every other page AND your main site that you're looking to promote.

I don't particularly like this method, and I have heard reports that Google might be taking notice of this strategy. I would say it's a little gray hat and I much prefer straight one-way backlinks to my sites.

link wheel is not a new concept as this involves a number of high rankings websites pointing to your website to improve the rankings of your website which is done from quite a long time by website owners to get better rankings in search engines.
About link wheel being good for SEO, yes they are, though simple wheels can be detected by algorithms, so build a more complex link wheel to make the process appear more natural eg

Link wheel looks spamming for me. I don't think is a good idea to have suddenly a lot of powerful sites pointed to your site. Normally is to have a lot of sites and few powerful sites pointed to you. This link wheel looks very risky for me...

it looks like spam

Link Wheel Strategies is exactly where you will be creating websites like blogspot, wordpress, squidoo and other similar web 2.0 websites that will link to each other and to your money site. The previous strategy of just linking the web2.0 sites to the main site was not a strategy/technique that was perfect. Therefore, the strategy of linking web 2.0 sites to the other web 2.0 sites and the main site is the perfect one because it creates a cycle that not only increases your main site's popularity but that of the other web 2.0 sites as well. There should be at least 5 web 2.0 sites to create the web link wheel cycle.Use social bookmarking as an effective strategy to increase your link wheel power. Social bookmarking sites like dig, buzz, reddit, twine and technorati etc will help to increase the number of backlinks to your main website and thus give a huge boost to your search engine ranking. To have an effective strategy your articles should have content that is of high quality and you should create an unique account for social networking sites. There is plenty of software available online that can help you to create accounts automatically.Follow the basic principles behind having a successful link wheel strategy. It is imperative to add as many web 2.0 sites as possible - 50 or more would be ideal - and add a URL to each of them on your original link wheel. Adding high paying sites to your link wheel is also one of the strongest SEO strategies to earn you good rankings in major search engines.

That's my opinion as well but how will google deal with them is the question.

I don't see this approach as being particularly new, but it's clear that plenty of people are trying to make money out of it.

I'd stick to building links organically where possible.
