I planned to do web design projects at my own. I need to interact with the customer & need to collect requirements from them and I will design web pages for them. Please help me to make it well.

Well, if you have designed before, then you can show them your previous work, from simple static site to full dynamic website. You should ask for what is budget for the site, then sit around, make a plan, write how much work needed to make a website base on that budget, then make a proposal and send.

I think it will work that way

Cheers!

always ask for how many keywords they are targetting for? how many pages they want to have? and the concept or niche of the website..Depending on these things we may have to ask them further questions...

I have a short questionnaire I use to ask them common questions. Colors, graphics, sites they like, objectives etc.

Hope this helps...

You can show up your previous designs to your customers and there you'll
see if they are interested with your works.

You can just simply ask them what they want and provide them what they need.
