How to auto check for domain availability for a list of domains?

I have a list that i would like to auto check for availability daily against a who is provider? and send back status.

Any ideas?

I’ve been pretty happy with godaddy’s domain monitoring service. They send an email whenever there is a change to the whois of domains I’m monitoring.

Checked it and seems to be good.
If eventually its dropped its will be considered as a change and an email will be triggered?

I think it’s free. You might have to pay $4.95 a year for an auctions account if you go over 100 domains monitored.

So they email you any changes. It can actually be a bit annoying how many emails are sent. Every time the dns is changed, name locked or unlocked, transferred etc.

You won’t receive an email if the domain becomes available per se, but you will if it goes to pending delete status, which is more useful in my opinion.

The pending delete notification gives you a couple days to decide if you want to try and catch it at drop or try your luck with registering it after drop.
