How to add www prefix without a htaccess

Hi
I have this website and running a custom made script. I need to add www prefix to it. but when I change the htaccess file, it stops working.

is there any other way to add www and redirect all urls come without www ?

Check if your DNS provider has url forwarding.

I use that exact same scenario with afraid.org's url forwarding.
