hi i was wondering how i can get my site listed on most search engines free? are there websites i can add my url to and be submited to search engines?

do i need to add tags to my site?

anything like that?

Don't bother about search engine submissions manual or auto. The best way to get listed is getting links to your site from a site already indexed by Google and other major search engines.

I agree. If you have a new site and you haven't done anything to keep the engines away (like spamming or redirecting) then the best thing to do is get established sites to link to you. Just don't go out and get a ton of links all at once.
