I would rather OBAMA as leader of the United States of America than some ex-actor or tired old Hack Politician. Whatever Ethnic, Cultural or Religous background of the leaders parents, has little to do with his potential ability to lead. With his diverse background and resultant immense support amongst marginalized minorities, he WILL be remembered as one of the greatest Presidents the United States has ever had. Enjoy and embrace being alive during his term in office. Something to tell your grandchildren about in 20-30 years time.

Finger-pointing about his background is the sort of petty minded schoolyard crap that has infiltrated politics. Anyone that has trouble with OBAMA's heritage should RE-Read the US Constitution and Declaration of Independence. Your country was founded on the principles of fairness and equitable treatment of ALL people.

Those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end.... Politics and politicians except for a handfull cannot be trusted anymore. All over the world it's the same. We have a saying here in Portugal about politicians and elections "The flies may change, but the shit is still the same" I notice a lot of agitation in the US about Health Care reform. Living in Europe we don't understand why so many Americans are against it. To us it has allways been free health care with the option of going to the private if you so wish. We wouldn't have it any other way. Aparently the Canadians also have it and they are next door. Someone please give me a logical explanation why so many in the US are against free health care?

There seems to be a lot of anger against Obama, who should also be weary and carefull with his policies, otherwise he could easily be the target of someone after his scalp.
