How often are you getting unauth transfer requests?

Received an email today from godaddy saying a transfer has been started and sent me my codes to authorize it. The one thing is I never sold it or have even listed it anywhere for sale. I emailed GD to say it was a fraud and that I wanted the persons email and name (dont know if they will give it to me). Does this happen often?

I got one about 2months ago. Strange thing was it wasn't a domain I'd ever owned, but someone was using my private email address.
