what is the % or ratio do parking places gain from using my domain parked at their place?

if i earn $100.00 ? how much do they get? $200, $300, $400 or is the profit margin very small?

Fabulous.com takes 50% if you optimize the parking yourself, but only 25% if you let them do all the work. :)

I have no idea about SEDO, but if you compare adsense revenues for certain keywords with SEDO keywords I would say that they take a LOT!! (sometimes up to 80%).. :(

lol @ sedo take 80%,

i dont think so

I said UP to 80%...

SEDO uses google, and if you compare some of the google adsense payments for example for Domain names or web hosting, you can get up to $5-6 pr. click (sometimes even up to $8), but you wil NEVER get that at SEDO....

But for other "cheaper" keywords they may take from 20-50% (an estimate)...

THe highest for a keyword i got was a $1.24

Thats my highest with sedo for a single click, god knows how much it was really worth!

I've seen clicks as high as 10-12 $ - Not at adsense but others -

Seems rediculous some times !!!

Its one of those mysteries. The world may never know the truth...

well if you figure that sedo is getting paid per click by the advertisers, similar to adwords, i can certainly believe that they're taking up to 80% of the cut... I have never received higher than about $2.40 per click on sedo... while that very same domain.... withe the VERY SAME advertisers made well i guess i can't say lol, but hypothetically it just maybe sorta could have made $15+ a click.
that *could* mean sedo is basically taking a $12 chunk there or 80%.
all i'm saying is that Sedo has a low ceiling for what they pay out to you, but it seems VERY unlikely that there's a similar ceiling for what they accept from advertisers.

HI

No one really knows how much a ppc company is taking for them self, I guess we just have to trust them or move to another ppc company if you are not happy with what they are paying you per click for your domains.

Thanks

Rember though adsense bans its use on parking pages, so the comparsion to adsend while probably good for relative value is not going to work for absolute value. The program is the domain parking program not adsense.

The rates seem to vary from 45% to 80%.

alright, that's a good point, but even with the relative value comparison, it's very easy to see that sedo is not hurting in terms of getting paid vs. paying out per click. i'd bet an assload of money on that.

Afternic

Afternic takes 0% You get 100% revenue on the payper clicks..Pretty nice..Although I seem to be one of the few who has had excellent luck using them.
