question How Much Should I Sell (DonaldTrumper.com) ?

Are you a Donald Trumper? If you search online many people refer to trump supporters as trumpers, than you got the never trumpers. I believe DonaldTrumper.com is a good name that should hold some value. Iv had lowball offers for it, and one high offer that I denied thinking I would get million dollars. Obviously, thats not happening, but I want to know what I should consider accepting. Their is no way I can just sell this name for $500, to someone, that eventually might sell it for $50,000 when their are so many trump fanatics that would love to have this name. I could see me getting $500,000 for it, because their are NO trump names you can get right now. You personally, cannot get a trump name close to this.. so I would assume that means it holds an intrinsic value.

Your original post was all about Donald Trump and his followers and then you mention a Donald Trumper in Las Vegas in a later post.

If you had started off by saying you have a first name / surname domain (no mention of Donald Trump) and posted it in the appraisal section I am pretty sure you would of had a totally different response.....

I won't offer any specific comment on the name in question, as the relevant points have been made by others.

However, I would like to comment on the aspect (in OP) of 'I won't sell it for $500 because the person that buys it might then sell it for $50,000' That is true, but they might well lose it in a legal dispute or never find a buyer for it.

Independent of whether this particular name would ever sell for that, in my way of thinking (I could be wrong) there is a fundamental flow in that reasoning.
The $500 offer is certain money (if the offer is a valid one).
The person who buys it with intention to resell has no guarantee that it will ever sell. If the chance is say 1/10 it will resell, the price needs to be $5000 plus costs just to break even. Particularly in political/social names interest turns on a dime, there is a real possibility the name will never find a buyer.

Every time we sell to another domainer we are choosing to take a much lower price, but sure money, rather than a higher price but with substantial risk we will have no sale at all.

For liquid assets, like short letter or number domains, the risk is lower, so the difference between wholesale and retail prices will also be less. Just as in conventional investing, the higher the risk involved the higher should be the reward for those who take the risk.

This is a high risk domain.

BTW it seems to me that the highest value sale including the word 'trump' in any way, but excluding names where it was obvious that it was trumpet that sold, is as I see it was TrumpPence (com) for $18.7k , trumped (com) for $15k, and trump (club) for $7.1k). Here is the full list. TrumpMatters( com), Trump (info) and TrumpGov (com) all sold for $150 or less.

I personally wouldn't try squatting even if it was correct spelling. The only squatters that really have been paid have lived in a country when it was easier to pay them out when they already paid copyrights etc. If it was DonaldTrump dot com for example and you were in the USA you would just find it deleted from your account with no explanation.
