Yes, I think, there is a chance that the unlucky person who dreamed at nights about this domain and in his head didn't born the idea simply to register a domain (but he knows about the Flippa) - "Kevin" - is the same person as a seller

Well the main difference is that if domain was free to register - it means that nobody wanted to register it. So there is a big chance that this domain has no or very low value.

the difference is 12 years

which means if the name was held by the same person, then they invested about another $100 into the domain, in renewal fee's.

if you want to find "sellable" domains, then find you a mentor, and do a lot more reading.
