B BTS Established Member ★ 15 ★ Impact 0 Jul 24, 2007 #2 It really depends what your keywords are. i.e if you have a website for say "bananas" a count of 100 might be great, as not so many people type bananas daily. However, if your keyword is "gifts", a count of 100 would be poor. Correct me if I missunderstood your question Murvin. ~ Don

FPForum Top Member VIP ★ 15 ★ Impact 1,436 Jul 24, 2007 #3 It's a valuable domain if the ovt count is over 100k i'd say..even if it's 60k+ it may be worth getting and developing. However, I don't think you will find many (if any) keywords that have an ovt of over 100k and the .com is still available..

M murvin Established Member ★ 15 ★ Impact 0 Jul 25, 2007 #5 Thanks guys, recently came across a word which had a overture count of 70 since Jan 2007. Not sure if it was worth investing .. Hence the question. New domains with overture of 100k and 60k is next to impossible.

Click to expand... Very true. but dont be disheartened. With a little extra work on your behalf, you can do it. Yahoo and MSN are easier to rank well for though.

That's not SINCE Jan, 2007, that was the count DURING Jan 2007. Overture is dying - the data hasn't been updated in months. Still helpful, but getting less so every month.
