How long does it take for Google

Just wondering about this, Last month Google spidered the hell out of my site. I think because it was new it crawled everything (4000+ pages).

Page Hits - 120,211
Robots.txt hits - 56
Bandwidth - 516.34 MB

My question is, when does this show? I search for my site and see only about 200 pages, and I am getting very little traffic from google while MSN is sending me 2000 uniques a month. Should I be waiting for the next pr update?

Well, as for a new site you have many pages. Maybe google looks very careful to such sites since it could be simply random generated pages (sometimes I see those trash sites appearing in search results at yahoo, but not at google.. well I saw once on google too for one keyword, but all sites were removed in few days). Just my thoughts..

google will monitor your site, depending on relevancy to the keywords on the site, google will sometimes never rank a website, sometimes top 10 position for a month but if visitors don't stay very long, google ranks it lower because logically its not as relevant if people are leaving too soon. With google its a game agaisnt their computers, I personally don't bother as I get thousands of visitors from yahoo and msn, which I have over 100 top rankings with.
