How long Auth Transfer takes?

I bought from someone a Domain and then he gaved me the Auth Code, then it didnt worked and he said he forgot to unlock the Domains.
He unlocked it now and on my page is written: „pending transfer from losing registrar“.
When should i pay?
When isnt he able to cancel the transfer?

It depends on the registrar its leaving. A transfer takes anywhere from 5 minutes to max 5 days. Some registrars have fast transfer which the person you bought from would have to manually approve that in their dashboard or through an email.

Dont pay until you receive the domain and verify its not stolen or has any payment due..

I also telephone GoDaddy and make sure the domain is free and clear of problems.

I suggest you call them too. Just to be sure.
