    Hi all,

Someone from dofo.com recently brought to my attention that one of my domains has been listed for sale by "Key Domains" on dan.com without my knowledge. Thank you brother; you know who you are ... much appreciate it!

Not only was it put up for sale but the creation date is showing its months old on Godaddy and ICANN. How is this possible?

I just found my 1st billing from 1and1 from when I reg'd it in my email which dates back 06/18/2008. I have owned this domain ever since plus other extensions of it from when I started. As a matter of fact I have an abandoned/ dead Trademark on this at USPTO (Filing Date July 2, 2008). Will be contacting my registrar (Godaddy) as soon as I can. Meanwhile I thought I put up this thread.

Has this happened to anyone else on here?
Anyone has any ideas of what is happening and why it is showing wrong dates?

It show for Sale at Dan.com and has been listed by "Key Domains" (not by me / without my consent)
Godaddy Showing in-correct Creation Date 2019-05-17T04:23:06Z
    ICANN Showing in-correctvCreation Date: 2019-05-17 04:23:06 UTC

    Thank you

If all of your details are correct, you're registrar can sort this out

You might have missed the renewal. Or it was unintentionally bulk uploaded by key domains.

You've got to find the domain history. If it shows create date of 6 months ago, its likely it expired without you knowing.

Like others have said. Given the creation date it looks like it expired. Have you checked historic whois to confirm what its expiration date was?

The domain has been always in my portfolio since I got it in 2008. First at 1and1 then I transferred them out to godaddy many years ago. I have two step verification and the lock is on as well. I most likely missed the renewal for expiration but never passed the grace period where you have to pay the $80 at godaddy. Even when you renew it let's say 10 days after expiration which is well within the grave period the creation date should have stayed 2008 and not 2019. Am I wrong here?

Besides all my renewal emails from 1and1 and godaddy is available since I got this domain so shouldn't be hard to prove. I just dont like to be put in this situation while I am on vacation and am trying to enjoy myself with the family.

There is such thing as historic whois? I just checked the whois at ICANN and Godaddy who is my current Registrar.

try DomainIQ.com or post the name and someone will look it up for you - if you don't have an account. PM me if you would like me to look it up and send it back to you privately. No big deal at all.

found a few other discrepancies in other domains as well. bad timing this is happening. I have to dig in more for the next couple of days while i am on vacation and heavily medictated on flu medication. Cant barely keep my eyes open not to mention going through all my emails. will email dan.com to remove that domain from their site and will keep you guys posted. I keep all important stuff on 2 seperate hardrives or else this wouldnt take long if i was back home.

KeyDomains has a lot of fake listings.
