What is your opinion on the value of a premium domain name with a .org suffix.

Depends on the name and what use it is being put to. If you are a charity you must have the .org for example. I've seen an .org registered but not the .com as a result of that. To specifically answer your question we need more information, which is why I say anywhere from 1% to 10%.

I opine <.>org does not necessary used for charity sites. I've seen premium domain<.> org websites providing information / artcles / review, etc with adsense links, advertsement for affiliate products, etc. With this in mind, and if the search engine don't take <.> com, net or org into consideration, the <.> org should have the same impact as <.> com or <.> net

You were asking about valuations in your first post but in your second post you are asking about google ranking?

No, my second post is related to your first answer by asking you why <.>org is for charity site when people out there still used it for adsense or affiliate product promotion.

some businesses work well with .org. Charities almost must have the .org to be respectable. If I was a charity, I'd register the .com, .net, .org and redirect to the .org domain.

I personally believe that adsense and affiliate product promotion websites on .org don't work that well. Of course there will always be exceptions. Coz whenever I've tried them they haven't worked for me. .org is basically for organizations rather than businesses (in the strictest sense). I want my adsense and affiliate product promotion on the .com domain. .com is for commercial.

I respect you for being adhering to the principle of rule by promoting adsense and affiliate product on the .com domain

But do they make any money? Some might, most don't. If your domain is parked, does it make any money? If not parked, is it making any money?

I have many single word .org similar to yours, and none of them make any money (no/little traffic).

I love dot orgs I do believe in my opinion with thousands of tlds being relesed by ICANN within the next few years dot org would be the one having hold on to it's prestige and recognition. Also remember that ther are adult sites even using dot org's. They in a clever way note on their website that "10 percent of your membership goes to charity of your choice"
