Although I only own in the ballpark of 500 domain names, I want to make sure none of them slip through the cracks. I do my best to consolidate my portfolio at a handful of domain registrars to ensure safekeeping. I am sure most registrars where I have domain names are secure, I find it is easier to manage my portfolio at just a handful of registrars. Domain management can be a nightmare for domainers. One cannot just consolidate the domains at one registrar. With that in mind, our domain marketplace at http://www.lysted.com allows one to view whois information of the domains that are published for sale. You can apply all kind of filters on this information as well. System also has alerts for domains expiring within 30/60 days. Whois information can be exported in csv/excel format. Also your complete portfolio can be uploaded through csv file.

Just my opinion ..cause of the advertising. .

will sometimes transfer domain names to GoDaddy, as I have found that is where many end user buyers want to transfer their names. Even if GoDaddy isn’t their preference, they may feel comfortable to accept a push because GoDaddy is so well known.

another reason you should have a tool that shows you a quick view of all your whois data for all your domains in one place (regardless of where you register, purchase, auction or host) spreadsheets are good but nothing beats an online solution that auto updates and whois changes automatically. few companies have an interest in providing domainers with the info they need to be compliant with large organizations like icann
