We were told a while back by a well known domain blogger that re: our name 990v.com "the "v" kills it for a Chinese buyer" -well it sold last month and went straight to China.

That was stange from day one. V kills the name. If the name don't have any meaning. Which was assume that V don't have any meaning in chinese language
i scratch my head and think than how they will handle VR domains. Few months ago I sold a VR domain to an enduser is china and that's not all. I also sold many other a e i o u v domains to chinese domainers on ebay.
