Well I got hosting account from a guy and this to check his hosting service. Now after I setup the base domain name I found somethng funny...

A subdomain is created under my domain and it seems has a MFA site !

it was like www.cpanel.mydomain.com

i checked cpanel under subdomain and there was nothing there also I checked FTP in public_html nothing again. Nothing in .htaccess too !

So I created cpanel.mydomain.com and redirected it to main domain but it didnt work. subdomain was created and even it shows in FTP but still MFA site is running ...

I just noticed the subdomain but this can happen to anyone and you wouldn't notice it at all.

So how this can be stopped or have I missed something ?

.

I'm a bit confused - what do you mean by MFA?

As far as cPanel goes, it now automatically creates cpanel.domain.com for those folks who cannot access ports 2082/2083.

I meant by MFA is that there is a AdSense junk site. and yes it had a problem accessing ports 2082/2083 thats how i saw this. It supposed to take me to Cpanel but instead loaded this mini site for some reason.

I was able to access to the cpanel from IE.

I would contact the host as to why that subdomain was there in the first place.

just to be sure check your cname and A where they're pointed, if you can't figure it out, the best way is to contact your customer support.

Try checking under Addon Domains instead.

Nothing there too.

I already contacted the hosting provider but haven't received a reply yet.

If my memory serves me right this is a global rule on the web server side. So your host would need to change it and they may not be able to.
