Hello if somebody here is using godaddy hosting let me know how to park the addon domain in the control panel.

I got one hosting account it has 25GB space and my site only uses 10MB

What will I do with that extra space if I am not able to use it for other domains.

There is no addon domain thing in CP.

All there is a subdomain and alias.
I tried making a subdomain and then aliasing it with some other domain to get the addon domain effect but it is not working.

Let me know your ideas. Is there any kind of script which can do this?

I am not sure, but perhaps the hosting plan is for 1 domain only? By the way, I just checked their site just to check for you how many domains their hosting does support and couldn't see the plan with 25GB space anywhere on it. What plan are you using?

Using the opportunity, I want to warn you that GD hosting is .... how to put it in polite terms ... not of the best quality. My advice (this always worked for me) is that you should use registrars for registering domains and hosting companies for hosting them.

The GoDaddy hosting plan you are referring to only allows one domain name. I think for that matter all GoDaddy Plans are one domain hosting but I am not sure. They may have an upgrade option available where you pay extra for each domain you want to host.

can't I use the script that I found yesterday after posting this for hosting more then one domain on a single domain?

Means I found one clickbank script which does this. So will it be illegal? From GoDaddy point of view?

Can you be more specific here? I can't imagine a SCRIPT that takes care for DNS issues, for example.

Thank you.

just use your sub-domains and then use other domains as a redirect to the sub domain.
or contact godaddy

Thanks premiumsigs.

I contacted godady. And got reply in 5 minutes through email.

They told me to forward my remaining domains to the subfolders into my main account.

So it will do the trick. But just one thing That I would like to ask is that:-

Will Search Engines penalize me for forwarding a domain to the subfolder of the already hosted domain?

I have read somewhere that forwarding a domain is not a good technique. Let me know your guidelines.

Thanks.
