Hi All,

So one of the common selling methods I tackled to was directly contacting potential end-users via email or so..
My question is how do you phrase it ? What information do you provide or not-provide?
Do you name the price immediately?

If it is possible, i'd love to see a truely written example.

Thank you !

Some Namepros' member (I do not have a link to the post, but I have this saved in my email-drafts) has provided this template:

Hello,

We are contacting some email companies concerning a memorable domain name we are selling:

Email.net

As your business is currently ranking under the domain's keywords, we thought the domain could be of interest.

Please let us know if your company would be interested in acquiring this domain name.

Best Regards,

- If you would prefer not to be contacted about future domain opportunities, please respond with opt out in the subject line.

Hi

just to make sure you don't start sending out spam letters to other domainers, I suggest you read thru this thread:

will also give you idea of "what not to write in an email"

imo...

For this exact reason we'll appreciate more phrases in this thread, to add them to the anti-spam filter ASAP, to have all such emails deleted on arrival. Nothing personal, but please do not send emails to domainers (we receive a few dozens each day from the same individuals).

We receive a few dozens each day from the same individuals, and so are endusers. Which means that e-mail marketing to endusers may now have very low productivity. Better to let the endusers email themselves, imho... which will happen for saleable domains anyway

P.S. This post and the previous one are not intended to offend anybody in any way

I wont be sending offering-emails to domainers, actually never intended to. As a starting domainer I realize they have enough tools to seek their own domains. And they might be interested in mine ;)

maybe you have to question the quality of the domain being solicited and the quality of content within the solicitation.

always start with the mirror :)

imo...
