How do you move from EV1 to Sedo?

ev1 servers does not provide redirects so you would either have to do it manually with a redirect code or just a text link on your own host or just use sedos's name servers.

Right, log into your domains account at ev1 and change the nameservers.

METHOD 1: NAME SERVER FORWARDING
At your registrar, change your Name Server settings to the following:

Primary Server Name: NS1.SEDOPARKING.COM
Primary Server IP: 217.160.95.94

Secondary Server Name: NS2.SEDOPARKING.COM
Secondary Server IP: 217.160.141.42

ah thanks RJ...i saw the change nameserver thingy but was not sure.

what happens if i do that?
is the name still at EV1 or "pushed" to sedo?
or is it just "url forwarding"?

You will be pointing the domain to the sedo name servers

AT THE manage yr domain page, it has this


1. manage name servers

2. adding new name servers? (how many can you have?)

3. at the bottom of the page "If you want to create or modify a nameserver which is based on domainABCD.com click here. ?

what does it all mean?

if i want to purchase 10-30 names, can it be done in EV1 easily?

what is the "checking-out" of EV1 fees??

anyone answer please!!!

You can not bulk buy on ev1 I dont think. Making your own name servers is for like if you are running your own dns eg. webhosting. You can make it so your customers have ns.yourdomain.com
