How do you guys promote

How do you guys promote your affiliate based websites/products. I have an online payday site http://loans.getnow.us/payday.htm that I have been promoting with yahoo sponsored search and adwords. My max CPC is 1.00. I have spent 12.00 and made 1 lead which got me 12:50. Is there a better to promote affiliate stuff quickly (wo waiting for indexing) or is this the best approach.

Being indexed can be done in a few days.

The other best way is being ranked high in google for keyword terms related to your product/service, which a lot of times shouldn't be to HARD.

Yeah, I guess I'm just gonna start mixing adsense and affiliate stuff on my indexed pages.

adwords works, but it seems like im just breaking even.
