How to avoid affiliate theft

Im a newbie who just want to start a PCP campaign to promote Clickbank products. Recently I buy a book on marketing Clickbank product, the writer mentioned about this in his ebook but not suggest any way to deal with it.

The problem is when someone click on my pcp ads and arrive at my affiliate program sales page, and he not buy through my affiliate link, instead sign up as affiliate with the Clickbank program Im promoting and buy for himself.. Why not? He get discount for himself rather than buy it from me...

So how to avoid this from happen? This is really discouraging

You mean someone reads about clickbank on your site, then goes to clickbank by typing it in the toolbar, instead of clicking through your aff link?

If that's what you mean, there's really nothing you can do. I wouldn't call it theft , just a click that didn't convert.

Also, it's PPC not PCP. PCP is a drug. :hehe:
